Wild Cat acts have been moving off the Vegas strip. A good thing for the sake of these big cats.
For years PETA (People For The Ethical Treatment Of Animals) had protests outside of venues with wild animals acts on the strip. And it looks like they’ve finally come out on top.
The last of Siegfried and Roys big cats have moved out of the Mirage and into sanctuaries.
Both Wildcat Ridge Sanctuary in Scott Mills, Oregon, and In-Sync Exotics located in Wylie, Texas
will continue to care for the cats so loved by Siegfried and Roy.
What are the new upcoming big cat acts on the Vegas Strip?
It doesn’t look like anyone’s really determined to bring on any new acts. Not if it includes wild cats.
As stated in the Las Vegas Sun’s article back in 2022, “The Stage Is No Place For Big Cats” and no longer welcomed by the public. “The public’s attitude towards these shows makes it a dying industry.”
Now retired from the Vegas strip, these beautiful cats can live out their lives in a safe and peaceful environment.
