Flat fish with eyes and nostrils visible from the top. Unfortunately for us the stingray’s defense mechanism is camouflage, so if accidentally stepped on, it will sting.

Stingrays have sharp, barbed stingers on their tails, and when used in defense, like being stepped on will pierce the skin.
This can cause puncture wounds injected with venom, tissue damage, pain, swelling, and occasionally secondary infection.

Fish are always a good idea in a terrarium, to keep mosquito larvae out of your pond. Along with a good filter to keep water clean and moving.

They are so easy to build, and when kept up so beautiful.  I don’t remember a Summer without dragonflies.
