The star studded city of Los Angeles has set an example that there’s nothing more glamorous than a kind heart.

The LA Times reported that the city council voted to ban the sales and manufacturing of fur products.  It looks like the love of animals is winning in this big city of fashion and fame.

“This is something that is not just a good legislative win, it’s a moral win,” Councilman Bob Blumenfield said in a report from the LA Times. “We feel like we’re evolving as a city, as people, to stop this kind of unnecessary cruelty.”

A new ordinance preventing the sale and manufacturing of fur products will be presented to the city council for final approval in the near future.
