A great victory for all animal lovers in the state of California.

Last week Governor Brown signed Cruelty-Free Cosmetics Act- Bill sb1249.

A great win for California!  And we hope to see others follow in banning this cruel, unnecessary, testing on animals for cosmetics.

What does this new law mean, and when is it said to take effect?

It will be unlawful for the manufacturer to import, profit, sell, or offer for sale in the state of California any cosmetic developed or manufactured using an animal test that was conducted or contracted by the manufacturer, or any supplier of the manufacturer as of the year 2020.

There are so many cruelty-free cosmetics today to choose from…..

And of course, as of the year 2020 any cosmetic purchase made in California!
