  2. The Falconry Experience on Catalina Island is one I will never forget!

    The idea of going to Catalina Island itself was exciting….

    But learning about falconry, AND calling one of these giant birds over to land on my arm!
    That just made it over the top amazing!

    They give the history behind falconry, and tell about the birds- Falcons among others, nice job!
    Time well spent.

  9. SDGE hired over 200 goats to help prevent fires by chewing away some of the source.

    We hope you are doing your part too!

    These rains have created alot of growth that can turn to dry brush.

    Help get rid of unwanted vegetation and dried brush, and prevent wildfires.

  11. UC Riverside scientists confirm a flatworm deadly to dogs has been found in a portion of the Colorado River that runs through Southern California.

    Researching an area where several dogs have become ill, scientists confirm they have found a flatworm called Heterobilharzia americana, also referred to as liver fluke.

    “Dogs can die from this infection, so we are hoping to raise public awareness that it’s there,” said UCR nematology professor Adler Dillman. “If you’re swimming in the Colorado River with them, your pets are in peril.”

    Sniffspot now has option to rent pool areas for play, as well as beautiful back yards.

    If you’re familiar with Air B n B this is very similar. This can be any yard or area privately owned and available to rent for a certain amount of time on a particular day.
    In fact if YOU have an amazing yard that you want to rent out for some pup to play, you might find yourself making some good money, as dog owners like myself are always looking for a private hillside or area to run the dog. I say thumbs up!!

  24. Ostrich Land in Buellton, Ca.
    Meeting an ostrich is quite the experience.

    An ostrich is the tallest bird in the world standing up to 9 feet tall weighing over 300 pounds! Carrying all that weight they don’t fly, but they can still reach speeds of up to 37 mph! 

    Ostrich Land in Buellton, Ca gives people the opportunity to interact and feed these giant birds,where I quickly found out, that they can eat just as fast!!!
