Hiking is fun, But keep in mind, it’s rattle snake season!
Be aware of your surroundings, and always have a plan in case of emergency.
When hiking stay on trails, and avoid walking through tall grass.
Always step on top of logs, not around them.
When hiking with a dog, have an emergency Dog Carry Harness, in case your dog is in distress and needs to be carried down a trail or out of the area.
Backyard Tips.
*Try and limit places for critters to hide in your back yard, like boards, unused furniture, or buckets.
*Check with your veterinarian about the rattlesnake vaccine for your dog.
