More rules and long list of breeds banned from United Airlines.
Because of recent deaths there will be more restrictions and breeds banned from flying United Airlines. A list of more than thirty breeds.
I hope not all airlines will follow these new restrictions preventing so many breeds from flying. Instead of restricting so many breeds maybe provide more training and care for pets needing to travel instead.
Some airlines do have restrictions to some snub nosed breeds due to health risks such as bulldogs or persian cats and I agree, but it seems United’s list is very long and I’m still trying to figure out why the strong jawed breeds?
I think its very good to have restrictions to certain areas due to temperature. Such as Las Vegas and Arizona during the hotter months and certain areas during the colder months.
I think that’s much smarter than having a veterinarian sign something stating what temperature your pet would be able to withstand. What if thats overlooked?
The good thing is more attention has been put on safety and all aspects of pet travel. With hopefully more attention to proper care during loading and unloading.
Rules can be good as it will slow things down a bit.
And my pets are so important to me I would rather take the time, than be fast and sloppy with them at risk.
